This September we met a new customer from France, his name is Christophe. He is smart and knows a little about Chinese culture. It’s a great time to chat with him.He metioned the Middle Autumn Festival which amazed me!
Most of our customers are not familiar with Chinese festivals,so we decide to write something about this holiday.
We use solar calendar date now,but for some old Chinese they still use lunar calendar date,Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which usually falls in September or October.
The festival is named after the full moon, which is said to be the brightest and roundest on this day. This is an important holiday in China, schools and most companies usually will have 3 days holiday.
Chinese eat mooncakes, a type of pastry filled with sweet or savory fillings, and gather with family and friends to admire
the moon and light lanterns.
Welcome to China!
During your travel, you can use our Travel Garment Bag.It’s a good choice!
